The 2025 Shiloh Christian Track & Field season was truly historic—a year defined by grit, growth, and greatness. For the second straight season, both the Junior High Boys and Girls teams captured Conference Championships, showing the depth and strength of the program across all event areas. The Girls team sent ten athletes to state, with standout freshmen Brooklynn Henry and Amy Dawson qualifying in five events. Brooklynn earned top-eight finishes in the 200m, 400m, and 4x400m, while Amy placed second in both the High Jump and Long Jump. Veteran leader Chloe Blessing continued to shine, scoring in the High Jump and 100H and holding multiple school records as she heads into her senior year.
The season’s crowning achievement came from the High School Boys team, who captured the first-ever State Championship in school history. Led by multi-event state champion Matthew Thurman—who won the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and anchored the winning 4x800m relay with Joby Butler, Carson Herron, and Cooper Sudduth—the Saints dominated the state stage. Breakout performances from Brody Francis (100m champion) and Brave Rupp (top-five in 200m and 400m) helped seal the title. In total, 13 school records were broken, multiple athletes earned All-Conference and All-State honors, and Thurman and Rupp were named All-Americans. This season was about more than medals—it was about building a lasting culture of excellence, perseverance, and unity. The bar has been raised, and the future of Saints Track & Field is brighter than ever.
